Mrs. Margaret “Nig” Holmes, age 86 of Andalusia passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017 in the Andalusia hospital.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, January 13, 2017 at Keahey Chapel. Rev. Jerry Elmore and Rev. Greg Cotter will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6pm to 8pm at Keahey Chapel. Interment will follow in Stone Lake Gardens with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Mosley, Johnny Mosley, Brandon Ainsworth, Chris Grantham, Chase Short, John Morgan.

Survivors include one sister, Lorene Mosley Vickery of Andalusia; nieces, Lola Allen of Baker, Fl; Sandra Grantham of Bessemer, Al; Linda Hicks of Dothan; Leshia Allen of Brewton; Sharron Short of Andalusia; Patty Bates of Lakeland, Fl; nephews, Jerry Mosley of Andalusia; Johnny Mosley of Andalusia; John Morgan of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Murray Rex Holmes; brother, Palmer “Bo”Morgan and sisters, Kathleen “Sis” Lundy and Fay “Dunnie” Booker.
