Obituary
Mr. Woodrow R. "Woody" Smith, age 79 of the Rose Hill Community passed away on July 7, 2023.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. Brother Ed Ganus will be officiating. The family will receive friends at Keahey Chapel one hour prior to the services. Interment will follow in the Veasey Chapel Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Larry Gay, Cody Smith, Carl Smith, Jody Smith, Jimmy Beasley and Josh Wallace.
Left to cherish his memory, loving wife, Mary Sue Nelson Smith; daughter, Rebecca Smith Harrison; grandchildren, Kyle (Kaylee) Hall, Leslie Harrison, and Issac Harrison; one great grandchild, Briar Hall; sister, Edna Smith Fuqua; sisters-in-law, Delayney Smith and Dovie Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernest and Essie (Mitchell) Smith; sister Lois Brannon and brother in law LaFelt Brannon, brothers, Clermon R. Smith and William C. (Tip) Smith; and brother-in-law, William Fuqua.
