William Gerald Hamilton

William Gerald (Jerry) Hamilton, a resident of Crestview, Florida passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025,
at North Okaloosa Medical Center in Crestview, FL after an extended illness. He was 84 years old.
Jerry was born August 5, 1940, in Covington County, Alabama to the late William Grady and Mary Gracie
Hamilton. Early in his life, he got nicknames like "Lucky" because he always seemed to win at things and
"Smiley" because of his wide smile.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Grady Hamilton and Mary Gracie Hamilton.
He is survived by his sisters, Louise Worley (Harold), Opp, AL; Jeanette Phillips (James), Mariana, FL; Sue
White (John), Florala, AL and brother, Robert (Martha), Dothan, AL. and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be Saturday, February 15 at 11:00 A.M. at Liberty Hill Assembly of God, 7046
Glen Chambers Rd., Florala, AL with Reverend Robert Hamilton and Reverend John White and Pastor
