William Foley Obituary

William Larry Foley, age 84, of Red Level passed away at home on April 18, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born and spent his early childhood in Coffee County. His family purchased a farm in Red Level when he was 12 years old and later he and his wife made their home and raised their family on the nearby farm of her grandfather. He loved being a farmer. Through the years, he employed and mentored many young men who worked on the family farm.

Mr. Foley was a faithful member of the Mott Church of Christ. He had a true servant’s heart that touched many lives. He was a founding member of the Red Level Rescue Squad and a certified
EMT. He served his community with dedication, responding to calls and caring for others with kindness and compassion. He also found great joy in planting large gardens, sharing his harvest
with friends, family, and neighbors, expecting nothing in return.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Mott Church of Christ in Red Level. Zack Campbell will officiate and congregational singing will be led by Alan Lindsey. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 2:00pm. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ann Foley; children, Debbie Russell, Ricky and Patricia Gibson and Alan and Jennifer Lindsey; grandchildren, Andy and Jessica Gibson, Zack and Lori Campbell, Will and Alana Gibson, Katie Lindsey, Kaleb and Abbie Powell, and Audrey Lindsey; great grandchildren, Bella, Brylie, Bentley, and Lottie Rein Campbell, Emory, Ellisyn, and Liam
Gibson, and Scarlett and Stetson Powell; sister, Betty Long; sisters-in-law, Margaret Foley and Sue Foley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Nell Foley, brothers Lamar and Len Foley and son-in-law, Kevin Russell.

Pallbearers will be Will Gibson, Kaleb Powell, Shannon Gibson, Shane Lee, Michael Bush and Troy Bryan. Honorary pallbearers will be all of the men who worked for Larry through the years.

The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our hospice caregivers, Suzie Floyd and Allie Roberts.
