Wayne Tillman Everidge of Red Level passed away October 6, 2023 at his residence.
The family will have a time of receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, October 10th at Keahey Funeral Home. Cremation will follow.
Left to cherish his memory, wife Susan Everidge; sons, Malcolm Wayne Everidge (Sabrina) of Oklahoma; David Everidge (Katie Hardin) of Mary Esther, Florida; daughters, Kristina Everidge-McLean (Thomas) of Red Level; Melissa Everidge of Red Level; Terri Peaden (Tommy) of Florala; brothers, Kenneth Everidge (Michelle) of North Carolina; Vernon “Bud” Warren (Amanda) of Virginia; sisters, Karen Vance of Washington; Judith Christ (Steven) of Minnesota; Cindy Wilson (David) of Elberta, Alabama; Samantha Slingluff (Perry) of Navarre, Florida; Elizabeth Utt of Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tillman Everidge and Edith Hutto Everidge.
Wayne was an Air Force Veteran and attended Andalusia Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He loved to fish, and also loved planes, trains and automobiles and was especially talented at restoring automobiles. He was a “cowboy’ at heart; and was the happiest when spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a former assistant chief of the Loango Fire Department and worked in construction most of his working life. Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
