Verlie H. (Halford) Stuckey

Verlie H. Stuckey, age 99 of McKenzie passed away June 24, 2025, in the Evergreen Nursing Facility.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 26, 2025, at the Georgiana Church of God. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the services. Rev. Kenneth Mitchelle will officiate. Burial will follow in the Elizabeth Cemetery in McKenzie. Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Stuckey, Jordan Davis, Jerry Halford, James Jones, Darrell Kendrick and Calvin Hudson. Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. 
Left to cherish her memory, sons, Mike (Jackie) Stuckey and Steve (Marcella) Stuckey, all of McKenzie; daughter, Dorothy Thomas of Montgomery; grandchildren, Ashley (Tommy) Ramkissoon, Marcus Stuckey, Jason (Kasey) Stuckey; Aleshia Stuckey; great grandchildren, Lauren Stuckey, Jordan Davis, Ethan Stuckey, Lexie, Tate and Makayla Ramkissoon, Tanner Stuckey; great great grandchild, Sophie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney C. Stuckey, a grandson, Russell Stuckey and a son-in-law, Artis Thomas. 
She loved working in her yards and until only a few years ago, she cut her yard with a push lawnmower.
