Mrs. Twinnette Barnes, 85, of Southport Florida, died December 20, 2020 in Opp, Alabama. She lived in Southport, Fl until 2014 when she moved to Andalusia, Al to be closer to family.
Mrs. Barnes was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Greatmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She now rests in the arms of her Lord Jesus Christ.
Mrs. Barnes was preceded in death by her husband JC Barnes of Southport, Fl. She is survived by six children, Betty "Jody' Robbins (late Alvie Robbins), Daniel (Donna) Sumner of Collins, GA, Ronnie Sumner (Charlene) of Holly Hill, Fl, Tina O Neal (Dennis) of Andalusia al, Michael Sumner of Panama City Fl, Lisa Mullins (Anthony) of Gatewood, Mo; Eleven grandchildren, Jason Tarey (Ashley) of Andalusia, Al, Tonya Machen (Ronnie) of Andalusia, Al, Amy Duvall of Dearing, Ga, Jared Hover of Greenhead, Fl, Austin Hover of Greenhead, Fl, Joshua Sumner (Amanda) Holly Hill, Florida, Lori Aviles (Mark) of Panama City, Florida, Glenn Lord (Daniel) of Panama City, Florida, Byron Robbins of Panama City, Florida, Crista Sumner of
Panama City Florida, Christopher Sumner of Panama City, Florida and sixteen great-grandchildren; Mrs. Barnes was the oldest of three brothers, late W.A. Odom, late William "Mason" Odom, David Lewis (Ann) of Panama City, Florida; five sisters, Yvonne Boyett of Panama City, Florida, late Kathleen Stone, Betty Sue (Earl) Fiquette, Linda Joyner (Ben) of Milton, Florida, Ruby Faye Rogers (John Montgomery) of Panama City, Florida.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday December 23, 2020, 11:00 am at
Kent - Forest Lawn funeral home Panama City Florida with Interment immediately following in the Forest Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service.
