Thelma Acree Obituary

Mrs. Thelma Williams Acree of Opp passed away Friday, January 8, 2021, in the Elba Nursing Home. She was 82.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at Andalusia Full Gospel Tabernacle. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to services. Rev. John Hunt will officiate.
Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery in Coffee County. Serving as pallbearers will be Alvin Acree, Jerry Acree, Jr., Shawn Blocker, Misty Tepperpaw, Andrea Acree, and Nickie Graham.
Left to cherish her memory, sons, Jerry Acree (Betty) of Opp; Anthony Acree (Teresa) of Andalusia; Greg Acree (Clara) of Summerdale, AL; daughters, Arlene Cooper (Anthony) of New Mexico; Alice Tepperpaw of Montgomery; and Gail Lundy of Elba; two brothers, Waylon (Debbie) Williams of Lowery, AlL, and Hayward (Jane) Williams of Opp; and 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Acree; children, Teresa Faye Acree and Mary Kathryn Acree; sisters, Birdie Ellis, Olene Beste, Winnie Shirle Herring; brothers, Bearin Williams, Zemory Williams, Howard Williams and Mayron Williams.
