Mr. Steve Knox, age 72, of Andalusia, Alabama, passed away on June 21, 2026.
Born in Covington County, Alabama, Steve was the son of the late O.W. Knox and Betty Joyce Worley Knox. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy for more than 20 years, retiring after a distinguished military career. He was also a dedicated Volunteer Firefighter with the Carolina Volunteer Fire Department, faithfully serving his community and always willing to help others. His service to both his country and his community was a source of great pride throughout his life.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Knox; daughter, Amanda Sexton (Darryl) of Perry, Florida; sons, Bryan Knox (Rebecca) of Andalusia, Doug Knox of Ruskin, Florida, Sam Frazier of Brewton, and Nick Frazier of Brewton; brother, Roger Knox of Andalusia; sisters, Kathy Reeves (Mark) of Andalusia and Marilyn Fowler (Thomas); grandchildren, Ayanna Sexton, Maegan Sexton, Alyssa Knox, Lily Knox, Nadia Grissett, Layla Frazier, Donald Frazier, Kelsey Frazier, Alanna Frazier, and Samuel Frazier; great-grandchildren, Layla Pino and Hudson Guerro; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel in Andalusia with Bro. Larry Stewart officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday at Keahey Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will follow at Judson Baptist Church Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be members of the Carolina Volunteer Fire Department.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Poppy American Legion Motorcycle Club.
Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
