Steve Roanell Dukes

Steve Roanell Dukes, age 83, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026 at his residence in Pensacola, Florida. 

Mr. Dukes was born July 29, 1942, in Columbus, Georgia, to the late Joseph Eugene Dukes and Ruby Lee Edwards. He had made his home in Pensacola, Florida since 1969 and was a member of Burgess Road Baptist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Patricia Dukes; three sons, Jeff Dukes (Lori) of Andalusia, Alabama, Johnny Dukes (Candace) of Milton, Florida, and Justin Dukes of Pensacola, Florida; one daughter, Jennifer Dukes of Pensacola, Florida; two nephews; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Mr. Dukes was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at the Keahey Funeral Home Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service. Bro. John Hunt will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Baptist Church Cemetery.
