Shirley P (Elliott) Rogers

Shirley P. Rogers age 86 of Andalusia passed away on Monday, March 14. The family will be holding a private ceremony. Mrs. Rogers will be returned to her home in England for interment. Keahey funeral home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Rogers was from Kent/ Ramsgate, England. She was an avid history buff of England and its past times; she was fluent in her knowledge of English royalty of the past. She enjoyed reading and watching documentaries of Old England and its history. She also enjoyed ancient Rome and Egyptian history. She moved to Andalusia with James in 1963, having live in San Antonio, TX and Australia before this date. She visited England many times during her life in Andalusia, enjoying family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Amerson (Emory) and Brenda Roberts (Tom); son, Jamie Rogers (Karren); grandchildren, Michael Grissett (Naomi), Brian Grissett (Carrie), Scott Rogers (Tina), Lindsey Rogers, Carlie Rogers, Abbi Roberts, Gibb Roberts, Olivia Amerson, and Jillian Carstensen-Noble; great grandchildren, Ivy Rogers, Alice Rogers, Conner Morrison, Aubrey Morrison, and Margot Grissett; sister, Roslyn Prevett (David); nephew and niece, Steven Prevett (Jill) and Laurie Dean.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James N. Rogers; parents, Frank and Rose Elliott; brother, Frankie Elliott; cousin, Norma Wall.
