Sara Knight

Sara Knight passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022, in the Crowne Health Care in Greenville. She was 73.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, July 31, 2022, at the Walnut Street Church of Christ in Greenville. Charles Box will officiate. Interment will follow in Stone Lake Gardens in Andalusia. Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with the services. 

The Walnut Street Church of Christ had become Sara's family. She loved riding the church bus from the nursing facility to church; she lite up when she got on the bus; was always jovial, smiling and laughing. She especially loved when the children lead worship at church with singing and praise. A retired administrator of Crowne Health Care described Sara as "one of the meekest and most precious women I have ever known; not having a pretentious bone in the body". When someone would send her a card or did the smallest act of kindness toward her, she would continually give thanks for the event. She loved cats and had a very special friend, Alicia Sexton. She is remembered as a true soul of kindness and love. The world needs more Sara's.
