Mr. Roy Nelson, age 66 of Opp passed away February 27, 2023 in the Opp Health and Rehabilitation.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 4, 2023, at New Chapel Baptist Church (3656 Hwy. 189, Kinston, AL). The family will receive friends from 9 a.m., until time of services. Rev. Terry Godwin will officiate. Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with the services.
Left to cherish his memory, sons, Douglas Aaron Nelson of Opp; Jeremy Wade Nelson of Kinston; stepdaughter, Kristina Spurlin Nelson; brothers, Gerald Nelson of Opp, J.W. Nelson of Opp; sisters, Carolyn Mack (Eddie) of Kinston; Doris Ann Hudson of Opp; Lucile Kilpatrick of Opp; grandchild, Taylor Nelson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Lynn Nelson in 2004.
