Rogene Derrel Bush

Rogene Derrel Bush, age 83 of McKenzie passed away February 9, 2025, in the Georgiana Nursing Home.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, February 11th at Bushfield Cemetery. Rev. Rex Tolbert will officiate. Serving as pallbearers will be Douglas Bennett, Charles Bennett, Matthew Bush, Jonathan Bush, Tyler Bush and Bradley Bush. Keahey Funeral Home is directing.
Left to cherish his memory, mother of their children, Sandra Sharpe; sons, Tommy Bush (Donna) of McKenzie, AL; Rodney Bush of McKenzie, AL; brother, Winton Bush (Kaye) of Montgomery, AL; sister, Margaret Faulk of Mobile, AL; grandchildren, Matthew Bush (LeCole), Jonathan Bush (Ashley), Tyler Bush (Nichole), Bradley Bush (Kristie), Kayla Chesteen (Kenny) and Kaitlyn Cosby (Cayden); 13 great grandchildren and his little Dachshund dog “Sophie Kay” who he dearly loved. 
 The son of the late Brunson Bush and Lucile Bennett Bush; a lifelong resident of McKenzie and a 1959 graduate of McKenzie High School. He served 4 years in the U.S. Air Force and owned Bush Grocery Market for many years.  He attended Bethel Primitive Baptist Church and loved Alabama football.
