Robert James King

Robert James King of Red Level passed away on December 2, 2023. He leaves behind a loving wife of 53 years, Jean King; son, James R. King (Kim) of Boise, ID; ; daughters, Michelle McDonald (Stephen) of Bay Minette, AL; Jennifer Carpenter (Billy) of Lakeland, FL; son, Kevin M. King (Angela) of Red Level, AL; brothers, Chris King (Ann) of Mobile, AL; Clint King (Karen) of Fairhope, AL; sisters, Sharlene Prior of Mobile, AL; Becky Royals (Wayne) of Red Level, AL;  8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, James O. King and Tenna Tillman McInvale. Robert served in the U.S. Marine Corp (Semper Fi) from 1968 to1972 and was a proud Vietnam Veteran. He was an active member of the VFW Post #4388. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and hunting. He loved Alabama football. He will be missed by his family and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 10am at VFW Post #4388 located at 6841 Oglesby Road, Red Level, AL.
