Richard Thomas Wallace, Jr.

Richard Thomas Wallace Junior 61 of Dozier passed away in his home unexpectedly after long-term health issues.

A memorial service is being held at Lindsey Bridge Baptist Church Andalusia. The service will be October 10, 2024 at 3 PM. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.

Richard was born in Rochester New York on 9/11/1963 to Richard T. Wallace Senior and Joanne Nasca Wallace he was a proud Italian American who lived for nothing more than spending time with his friends and family fishing, hunting and gathering around a huge pot of his famous spaghetti .

Richard served proudly aboard the USS McKee and won many awards for bull riding for the Navy.

He met and married his wife, Melinda Barton Wallace, they have three daughters who all currently reside in Alabama along with many  precious grandchildren he will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.

Richard is survived by his wife, Melinda Barton Wallace, daughters Megan Seaman, (Brett), Melissa Wallace (Lance)Murfield and Mackenzie Boutwell (Dalton) grandchildren Tyler, Rylan, Kylie, Aylan, Caiden, Carter, Madeline, Odin, Piper and Willow; sister, Cynthia East, and many nieces and  1 nephew.
