Richard Adams Obituary

Richard LaWayne Adams of Deatsville, formerly of Andalusia passed away September 7, 2022, at his residence. He was 81.

Graveside services will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Zion Hill Baptist Church cemetery. Rev. Eugene Meadows will officiate. Serving as pallbearers will be Tim Adams, Sheldon Adams, Steve Walker, Timmy Walker, Jimmy Green and Marvin Hicks. Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Left to cherish her memories, wife of 56 years, Linda Hicks Adams of Deatsville, AL; daughter, Nikki Bracewell (Kenneth) of Deatsville, AL; brother, Larry Adams (Patsy) of Andalusia; grandchildren, Evan Bracewell (Keli) of Tokyo, Japan; Eden Arnold (Jordan) of Millbrook, AL; one great grandson, Elias Arnold.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Erby Adams and Addie Elsie Jordan, brother, Darrel Adams and sister, Joyce Henley. He served in the Army National Guard and retired from Power South (formerly Alabama Electric) as a meter supervisor. He will be greatly missed.
