He lived a long, loving, fun, fulfilling, and interesting life. He was a veteran of the United States Naval Service and served on the USS Iowa Battleship during the Korean War. After his service he worked at places that he excelled, always hardworking not matter the task. He met and married a beautiful woman, Eugenia and started a family. He became a successful entrepreneur with his family business, Silcox Hardware in Apopka, Florida. Years later he expanded to Silcox Wholesale Nursery Supply in Sorrento, Florida. His passions in life were health and fitness. His beloved animals and the Alabama Crimson Tide. He was strong willed, strict, generous, respectful, compassionate and he believed in God. He was a jokester as well. When he got a laugh, he would tell the same joke three more times just to see if you would keep laughing. He loved his family and was present at his Fleming Family reunion for decades. Lots of good times, good food and hilarious stories. He is loved and will be missed. May he rest in peace.
