Otis Dean Brooks, of Andalusia passed away September 23, 2024 at his residence.
Cremation was chosen and arrangements were handled by Keahey Funeral Home.
Left to cherish his memory, daughters, Shelina Munoz (Nicolas) of Georgia; Casey Ziglar (Justin) of Andalusia; grandchildren, Isabella Munoz, Olivia Munoz, Melina Munoz, Damion "DJ" Osteen, Payton Brooks and Caleb Cooper; great grandchildren, Greyson Brooks, Oliver Pabst, Damion Osteen and Jade Osteen.
Dean was preceded in death by his parents, James Otis Brooks "Bootie" and Melba Frances McCarthy Brooks; 3 brothers, numerous nieces and nephews and his first wife, Sheila Brooks and his second wife, Sandra Brooks.
Dean was a self-taught master mechanic and owned his own business, Brooks Automotive and Garage. He attended McKenzie School and was blessed to have a very special friend, Ronnie Canant.
