Orene Vickery Kervin Odom, age 89 of Andalusia, Alabama passed away quietly in her home on June 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Left to cherish her memory, her children, Pam Kervin, Curtis Kervin, Sr. (Cindy), Wayne Kervin, Donna Kervin Hudgens (Scott), Lamon Kervin (Tammy), Yvonne “Rene” Kervin Williams and Eric Kervin; 16 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; sisters, Carolyn Wilson, Linda Gail Newton, Sharon Moore and Lynn Henderson. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Adison T. Kervin Sr., “Pat” and Elvin Odom and her son, Adison T. Kervin Jr. (Guy), her father, Henry W. Vickery, Sr., her mother, Leomia Vickery, her brother, Henry W. Vickery, Jr., and her sisters, Glenda Sue Stallings, her twin sister, Lorene Bozeman Wilson, and Joyce Capps, and son-in-law, Eddie Williams.
Funeral services will be held at 12 o’clock on Tuesday, June 10th at Welcome Pentecostal Church. Rev. Michael Bush and Rev. Tirey Bowen will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the services. Interment will follow in the Kervin Cemetery at Welcome Church. Serving as pallbearers will be Curtis Kervin Jr., Evan Kervin, Kyle Hodgens, David Joyner, Jeremy Joyner, Nathan Culcross, Justin Bush, Justin Pope, Honorary pallbearer will be Eli Kervin. Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Orene was a member of Pigeon Creek Baptist Church and attended Andalusia Full Gospel Tabernacle. She loved “raising' her kids”, and her grandkids. She was a wonderful cook, fisher and gardener.
