Nina Petty Obituary

Nina Somon Petty, age 58 of Dozier passed away September 30, 2025 in a Birmingham hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, October 3, 2025 at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services. Rev. Red Coleman will officiate. Interment will follow in the Veasey Cemetery in the Burnout Community of Brantley. Serving as pallbearers will be Tyler Pate, Nolan Denny, Anthony Jones and Shane Mitchelle.
Left to cherish her memory, daughter, Alexis Petty of Andalusia; granddaughter, Lily Bolise of Andalusia; sisters, Melissa Petty (Anthony Jones) of Andalusia; and Tina Shreve of Andalusia.
Nina enjoyed most anything outdoors, especially fishing and going on walks, spending time with her granddaughter and Alabama football. She was the daughter of the late Nolan Glade Petty and Minnie Lou Scott Petty.
