Morris Herring

Mr. Lenton Morris Herring of Andalusia passed away Monday, March 7, 2022 at his residence. He was 77.

Funeral Services will be held 12:00 pm., Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Billy Boles will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Bethel Cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted will these arrangements.

He is survived by his daughters, Trudy (Mike) Obenhofer, Teresa Taylor and Tammy Slaughter all of Andalusia Ex-Wife/friend, Barbara Herring, sisters, Janet (Albert) Carter of Hertford, NC and Joyce Harris of Salcha, Ak, brother, James Herring of VA, sisters-in-law, Judy Herring and Sandra Stokes, grandchildren, Harrison Obenhofer, Jessica (Marcus) Stacks, Nicholas (Jessi) Obenhofer, Cassandra Obenhofer, Kody Taylor, Marissa (J.D.) Whitt, Erica (PK) Steele, Jeffrey (Katelin) Slaughter and Courtney Slaughter, great-grandchildren, Kaylee Armstrong, Hunter Stacks, James Cassady, Addyson Kilpatrick, Brooklyn Griggs, Paisley Steele, Audrey Taylor, Finnleigh Taylor, Madeline Steele, John Bradley Obenhofer, Emmitt Obenhofer, Elora Slaughter and Amelia Whitt.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Herring and Evelyn Butler Herring, brothers, Lemuel Herring, Arlis Herring and Edward Herring.
