Miles McKathan Obituary

Mr. Miles Earl McKathan, age 94, of Semmes, Al, formerly of Covington County went to be with the Lord on Thursday October 20, 2022.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, October 24, 2022, at Pleasant Home Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the church. Judge Ashley McKathan and Rev. Fred Kelley will officiate. There will be Sacred Harp Singing. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. McKathan was in active duty during World War II while serving in the United States Air Force.

Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

Left to cherish his memory, son Wayne Earl McKathan of Mobile, AL; daughter, Sherry Jean Hanners (William) of Orlando, FL; sister, Shirley Smith of Andalusia; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by parents, James T. McKathan and mother, Leila Cross McKathan, his loving wife, Ruth Hide McKathan, brothers, Garnel McKathan, Luke McKathan and Gwen McKathan.
