Melissa Ann Jackson Williamson, age 56, passed away on December 28, 2025. She was born on October 17, 1969, in Covington County, Alabama, to the late Andy Allen Jackson and Bonnie Lucille Weaver Jackson.
Melissa was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished Nana whose family was the center of her life. She was known for her caring heart, strength, and the deep love she had for those around her.
She is survived by her husband, Steve Williamson; her mother, Bonnie Lucille Weaver Jackson; her children, Billy Williams (Emily), Melissa Williams (Tevin), John Worley, and Gabby McClellan (Brian); her sister, Tammy Creech (Dean); and her beloved grandchildren, Joseph, Joshua, Jeremiah, Miah, Destyni, Luke, Julian, Olivia, Brianna, Savanna, Viola, and Ivan.
She was preceded in death by her father, Andy Allen Jackson; and her relatives Mae Henderson, Susie Phillips, Charles Jackson, and Tucker McClellan.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 2, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Keahey Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at First Freewill Baptist Church of Dozier, with a one-hour visitation prior to service at the church. Bro. Ron Tubberville will be officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are John Worley, Michael Smith, Brian McClellan, Dustin Williams, Jake Lemay, Greg Walker.
