Obituary
Mary Joy Trawick Maddox of Andalusia passed away August 16, 2023, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, August 18, 2023, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services. Pastor Scott Donaldson will officiate. Interment will follow in Stone Lake Gardens.
Left to cherish her memory, daughters, Diane (Ronnie) Hart of Andalusia and Angie (Trae) Anderson of Andalusia; Stepdaughter, Brenda (Grady) Melvin of Florida, one sister, Betty Sue Edgar of Dothan, grandchildren, Melissa Bedsole, Jason (Jessica) Hart and Derek Adams, great grandchildren, Tra (Beth) Bedsole, Hailey Adams, Beau Hart, Cameron Adams, Cheyenne Adams; great great grandchildren, Joshua Crenshaw, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Elmer Trawick and Cleatus Maddox and son, Rickie Trawick and sisters, Lena Bell Morgan, Annie Laura Messick, Judy Gibson and Judy's twin brother, Jerry Ray Messick; and other brothers, Charles Messick, Jonas "Pete" Messick, Cloy Harvey Messick and William Messick. Pallbearers will be Jason Hart, Derek Adams, Tra Beldsole, Cameron Adams, Keith Kelly and Beau Hart.
