Obituary
Mary Sue Brewer age 81 of Luverne, formerly of Covington County passed away September 2, 2023, in a Luverne nursing facility.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, September 8, 2023, at Pleasant Home Baptist Church (Hwy. 77, Brantley). The family will receive friends at Pleasant Home Baptist Church from 10 a.m., until time for the services. Her brother, Rev. Walter L. Brewer will officiate. Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
Left to cherish her memory, sons, Chris Wells and T.J. Golson; numerous grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; siblings, Robert Wayne Brewer of Luverne; Joann Mitchell (Frankie) of Montgomery; Walter L. Brewer (Kim) of Brantley; Gene Brewer (Betty) of Pine Mountain, Georgia; Joseph Brewer (Ouida) of Greenville, AL; Linda Clarkson (Mike) of LaPine, AL.
Mary Sue worked as an administrative assistant with Huggins Sod Farm and Powell Termite for many years; In her retirement, she enjoyed quilting and always loved spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Andrew Brewer and Evelyn Odessa Jackson Brewer and a brother, Paul David Brewer.
