Mary Bass Obituary

Mrs. Mary L. Bass of Andalusia passed away Friday, April 3, 2020, at the Andalusia Nursing Home. She was 73.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Left to cherish her memory, daughters, Vanessa (Gerald) Gardner of Andalusia; Vicki Mullen (Russell Knight) of Greenville, AL; brothers, John G.(Glenda) Bush of Greenville, AL; Willie (Wanda) Bush of Tyler, AL; grandchildren, Jana Mullen (Tommie Jones), William R. Odom, Erica Gardner; great grandchildren, Bryson, Brayden, Cataleya, Kyleigh, Alayna, and Greyson; and her childhood friend since the 4th grade, Verla Faulkner.

Mrs. Bass was preceded in death by her parents, Marion Arthur Bush, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Wise Bush; two brothers, Marion Arthur Bush, Jr. and Marvin Bush; a sister, Katherine Perdue. She was a 1965 graduate of Georgiana High School and was a mother and homemaker most of her life but during her retirement years, she was the dining room hostess for the Andalusia Dairy Queen for Jimmy Faulkner.
