Marvin Allen Deason

Marvin Allen Deason, age 66 of McKenzie passed away February 7, 2025, unexpectedly at his residence.  
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, February 11th at Flat Rock Community Center. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services. Rev. Tyree Bowen will officiate. Interment will follow in the Flat Rock Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Garrett, Ben Kervin, Neal Snider, Ricky Snider and Ken Floyd. Keahey Funeral Home is directing.
Left to cherish his memory, loving wife, Debbie Sexton Deason of Andalusia; son, Michael Deason of Andalusia; brothers, Ralph Walker Deason (Anita) of Evergreen; John Franklin Deason (Denise) of McKenzie; sister, Laura Deason Salter of Evergreen; grandchildren, Abbie Deason, J.D. Coxwell, Bradley Deason, Khloe Spooner, Dixie Miller, Carter Deason and Rachele Deason. 
He was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Allen Deason in 2019 and a grandson, PIerce Allen. 
He served in the Army for 4 years and was a member of Garden Baptist Church and loved being outdoors, especially hunting and fishing and riding his side by side.
