Major Lee Miller, Jr., affectionately known as “Nute,” passed away on Saturday,
May 30, 2026, at the age of 27. Born on October 27, 1998, Major will be
remembered by those who knew and loved him. Though his life was cut short, his
memory will live on through the many lives he touched and the family he leaves
behind. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 5, 2026, at Abundant Life Church
in Samson, Alabama. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m., with burial to follow at
the Private Family Cemetery, 1302 River Road, Samson, Alabama. Major was
preceded in death by his grandmother, Flora Jones; his aunt, Candy Jones; and his
uncle, Jesse Jones. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Billie Stackhouse; his
father, Elliot Stackhouse; his grandfather, Billy Jones; his wife, Sabrina Henderson;
his mother-in-law, Billy Wilfong; his son, Major Akis Miller; his stepdaughters,
Aalyiah Marie Henderson and Brooklynn Deloris Henderson; his brothers, Zachary
Stackhouse (Shakira Taylor), Dewayne Clark, and Elliot Stackhouse, Jr.; his sister,
Erica Stackhouse; his uncles, Joseph Jones, Junior Stackhouse, and Glen Stackhouse;
his aunt, Roxanne Hartzog; his nephews, Logan Stackhouse, Landon Stackhouse,
and Ase Stackhouse; his niece, Harmoni Stackhouse; his cousins, Caleb Jones,
Clayton Jones, Hunter Jones, and Brooke Jones; along with numerous other relatives
and friends who will forever cherish his memory. Pallbearers will be Lester Trentham,
Montel Lane, Dewayne Clark, Elliot Stackhouse, Sr., Joseph Jones, Caleb Jones, and
Michael Harrison. The family extends their sincere appreciation to everyone who
helped lay Nute to rest. Your kindness, support, prayers, and acts of love during this
difficult time will always be remembered and deeply appreciated.
