Mable Jean (Ealum) Peevy

Mable Ealum Peevy, age 78 of McKenzie, Alabama passed away October 16, 2025 in the Georgiana Nursing Facility. 
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, October 20th at Bushfield Cemetery in McKenzie. Rev. Stephen Glover, Rev. Rex Tolbert and Rev. Tyree Bowen will officiate. The family will receive friends at Keahey Funeral Home from 12:30 noon on Monday until time to depart for the graveside. 
Left to cherish her memory, sons, Michael Peevy and Joey Peevy (Tracy), all of McKenzie; brother, Larry Ealum of McKenzie and sister, Shirley Daughtry (John) of Greenville, AL; granddaughters, Hannah Peevy, Gabby Peevy and Haileigh Peevy; great grandsons, Carson Jay Williams and Elliot Matthew Moore.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman Ealum  and Vera McCarter Ealum; husband, Robert Peevy; sister, Veta Ealum; and daughter-in-law, Wendy Peevy.
She was a lifelong resident of McKenzie and a member of the Worldwide Church of God and enjoyed her cats, cows and spending time with her family.
