Lura Mae (Morris) Fowler

Mrs. Lura Mae Fowler, of Andalusia, passed away Friday, October 15, 2021 in Mizell Memorial Hospital.  She was 79.

Lura loved spending time with her family, especially around the holidays. She was a faithful member of Harmony Baptist Church since moving to the Harmony community in 1997. She will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am., Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Bill Pritchett will be officiating. Interment will follow in Stone Lake Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with these arrangements.

Survivors include, son, Mark (Chandra) Fowler of Andalusia, daughter, Rachel Fowler Mayfield of Troy, brother, Daniel Lee (Debbie) Morris of Conyers, GA, grandsons, Matthew (Emili) Fowler of Andalusia, Christopher (Lexie) Fowler of Andalusia, Wesley Messick, Wade Messick and Waylon Messick all of Troy, great-grandchildren, Colton Matthew Fowler, Ella Lake Fowler, Mary Kate Fowler, Harlee Brooke Fowler and Reid Tillman Fowler all of Andalusia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Fowler and parents, Rufus L. Morris and Mary Hall Morris.

Serving as pallbearers Waylon Messick, Glen Frasher, David Clark, David Barton, Lex Colquet, and Bill Morris.

The family will be accepting flowers or memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice in memory of Mrs. Lura Mae Fowler.
