Lloyd Worley

Mr. Lloyd Worley of Gantt community passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 in the Opp Nursing Home. He was 70.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, May 21, 2018 at Keahey Chapel. Rev. Walter Brewer will officiate. Interment will follow in the Harmony Baptist Church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Ben Chance, Johnny Duggan, Corey Watson, Shane Watson, Lindsey Lyda, Donald Worley.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Keahey Funeral Home.

Survivors include his brother, Randy Worley of Gannt; sisters, Lucy (Pat) Gibney of Mobile; Margaret (Lindsey) Lyda of Mobile; one sister-in-law, Brenda Worley, wife of the late Ray Worley; 16 nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews; an aunt, Mrs. Ruth Worley of Red Level.

The family would like to thank the staff of Opp Health and Rehabilation for the love and excellent care given their brother.

Mr. Worley was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Worley and Bertha Green Worley; brothers, Radford Worley, Roy Worley and Ray Worley. Most of his life, he worked in the construction business and later worked with the City of Andalusia Recycling Department.
