Linda Ann Rabren, 76, of Andalusia, Alabama, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025. She was born in Andalusia and, except for a few brief periods, spent her life in the community she proudly called home. A devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, Linda lived a life defined by faith, service, kindness, and deep love for those around her. She will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to know her.
Linda was a lifelong member of Southside Baptist Church, where she found great joy in serving in many capacities throughout the years. She especially loved singing in the church choir, where her gentle spirit and warm voice added harmony both in sound and in heart. Above all, she felt her true calling was caring for the little ones—serving in the nursery was her favorite role and brought her immense happiness.
After 25 years of faithfully praying that God would bless her with a daughter to love, a series of miracles brought Linda and Katherine together in 1992. At last, Linda had the family she had always longed for. She and Katherine shared a close bond and created many cherished memories together. In 2005 and 2008, Linda’s joy multiplied when she became “Nana” to her grandson, Josiah, and granddaughter, Faith. From that moment on, her world was truly complete.
Professionally, Linda worked as an accountant for most of her career. To her many clients, however, she was much more than that—she treated them like family and was fondly regarded by all. Whether working independently or as part of a team, Linda always gave her best, offering not only her expertise but also her genuine care and concern for others.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Louise Rabren; her grandparents, Archie and Annie Mae Reeves; and her brother, Tony Clifton Rabren. She is survived by her daughter, Katherine (Ted) Jungkuntz; her grandson, Josiah Jungkuntz; her granddaughter, Faith Jungkuntz; and her sister, Brenda (Tim) Allen.
A simple graveside service will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. A small gathering for close friends and family will follow at Capstone Accounting and Advisors.
