Ms. Kimberly Dawn Odom of Andalusia passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, January 20, 2021. She was 40,
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, January 23, 2021, at Keahey Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday at Keahey Funeral Home. Rev. John Hunt will officiate the service. Interment will follow in the Carolina Baptist Church cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.
Left to cherish her memory, husband, Chris Odom; mother, Rebecca Berry (Robert) of Andalusia; father, Joe Terry of Bay Minette; sons, Blake Cross, Dalton Odom, Logan (Brianna) Odom, and Lucas Odom; daughters, Brooklyn Ainsworth (Dalton) and Breanna Cross; brothers, Jason Terry of Andalusia; grandchildren, Landyn Ainsworth, Caydyn Ainsworth, Brynlee Odom, Bentlee Cobb, Lamen Cobb; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Clayton Terry and Betty Rakstis Terry.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James, and Mavis Lawson.
In 2016, Kim launched her own business, Kim's Creations. She created vinyl decals for shirts, backpacks, and vehicles. She loved fishing and riding horses and had learned to ride as an adult. She cherished her beloved Yorkie "Rascal". Her family said she was terrified of frogs and lizards because as a child, her brothers would chase her with them and even put them in her bathing suit! She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was excited about the arrival of a new nephew, J.R. She will be greatly missed.
