Mr. Kenny Rogers Alexander of Evergreen (Paul Community) passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, March 3, 2020, in the Paul Community. He was 69.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 8, 2020, at New Providence Church in the Paul Community. Rev. Brad Hall will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday, at the church one hour prior to services. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Keahey Funeral Home of Andalusia and Evergreen is entrusted with arrangements.
Left to cherish his memory, wife, Betty Jo McClain Alexander; daughter, Sharon Renee Alexander (Gregory J. Wells) of Destin, FL, formerly of Andalusia; son, Kenny Rogers Alexander, Jr. of Paul Community; brother, Wesley Alexander; sister, Marcia Robinson (Sandy) of Paul Community; grandchildren, Jamie Wells, Alexzandrianne Bowen Mitchell (Murphy), Kristi (Courtney) Harold, Brandi Jo Phillips Murphy, Erica Sue Newton, Eric Newton.
Mr. Alexander honorably served in the Army National Guard for 7 years. He enjoyed listening to music and reading, especially mechanic publications. His passion was also his profession, early in his career, he achieved the highest level of recognition in his trade by becoming a First Class Millwright/Industrial Mechanic. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, and loved spending time with his family.
