Kenneth Damone Hooks

Kenneth Damone Hooks, age 45 went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 30, 2025.
Damone was born to Kenneth and Ann Hooks on February 5, 1980.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at New Home Baptist Church in McKenzie. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday at Keahey Funeral Home. Rev. Michael Bush is officiating.
Interment will follow in the New Home Baptist Church Cemetery. 
Left to cherish his memory, wife, Rita Hooks, son, Cody Hooks (Blackmon); mother, Ann Hooks, brother, Lee Travis (Cindy); sisters, Maria Parker and Jennifer Wiggins (Josh); nephews, Austin Travis, Tyler Travis, Jacob Wiggins, Jackson Wiggins, nieces, Allison Travis, Lindsey Travis, Gracie Travis, Ashely Parker, Kelsey Parker, Casey Parker;  several great nieces and nephews. 
He was preceded in death by his son, D.J. Hooks, father, Kenneth Earl Hooks, grandparents, Clarence and Margaret Powell, Henry and Barbie Hooks; and a brother-in-law, John Parker (Dickie).
Damone was a loving husband, father, son and brother. He was a 1998 graduate of McKenzie High School. He was a member of Burning Bush Revival Church; he loved to fish and play video games with his son and was a huge Alabama football fan! He was dearly loved.
