Kay Marie Commerton passed away December 20, 2024 in Opp.

She was born on January 10, 1956 to Edward and Melva Fowler. She was an avid Alabama Football fan.

Preceding her in death are her parents Edward and Melva Ward Fowler; and brother David Jay Fowler.

She is survived by her children, Kyle (Santanna) Whitson and Lacy Simms; grandchildren Kelsey Whitson, Haley Warmack, Chris Lawrence, Christan Simms, Alaina Simms, and Melania Simms; special cousin Lori (David) Windham; brother Ronald Edward Fowler; and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, family and friends.
