Kathleen Michele Silva

Kathleen Michele Silva, age 49, of McKenzie, Alabama, passed away on April 15, 2026.

Kathleen was born on January 27, 1977, in Madrid, Spain, to the late Edward Silva and Barbara Annette Silva. She made her home in McKenzie for the past seven years, where she became known as a kind and giving person who cherished her family and friends.

Kathleen enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, including playing bingo, reading, and fishing. She was a loving mother, devoted wife, and loyal friend who was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

She is survived by her husband, David L. Martin of McKenzie, Alabama; her daughter, Karenah Silva of McKenzie, Alabama; her brothers, John Silva of Jay, Florida, and William Silva (Barbara) of Savannah, Georgia; her mother-in-law, Sandra Martin and father-in-law, James Martin of Milton, Florida; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Kathleen is preceded in death by her parents, Edward Silva and Barbara Annette Silva.

Kathleen will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
