Katherine Wilson Hudson

Mrs. Katherine Wilson Hudson, age 67, of Andalusia, Alabama, passed away on May 30, 2026, at Andalusia Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Butler officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Stone Lake Gardens.

Mrs. Hudson was born on November 15, 1958, in Boston, Maryland to the late Alden and Martha Marino. She spent many years working in the textile industry as a seamstress, a profession that reflected her dedication, strong work ethic, and attention to detail. Katherine was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend who treasured her family and the time she spent with them. She had a special love for animals and found great joy in caring for them, especially her beloved companions, Rocky and Teddy, who brought her endless comfort and happiness through the years.

She is survived by her son, Chris Hudson of Andalusia; her daughter, Tammy Hudson (Jason Byrd) of Andalusia; her brother, Alden “Bo” Marino; her uncle, Jerry Garber (Deb); her grandchildren, Haley Hudson, Breanna Hudson, Danielle Hudson, Isaiah Smith, Eli Smith, Brooke Hudson, Laklyn Givens, and Cole Grant; numerous great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Hudson; her son, Scotty Hudson; and her brother, Tony Marino.

Mrs. Hudson's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
