Joyce Marie (Woody) Goodson

Mrs. Joyce Marie Goodson, age 81 of Dothan, formerly of Andalusia passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022, in a Birmingham hospital.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, October 9, 2022, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel (206 Stanley Ave., Andalusia, Alabama). The family will receive friends at Keahey Funeral Home one hour prior to the services. Interment will follow in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery (20932 County Road 70, Andalusia, Alabama). 

Left to cherish her memory, son, Billie W. Goodson and wife, Susan of Madison, Alabama; daughter, Cynthia Goodson Motes of Dothan, Alabama; brother, Randy Joe Woody and wife, Carol of Springfield, Tennessee; sister, Sondra Marlow of Springfield, Tennessee, 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rayburn Randall Woody and Mary Elizabeth Dean Woody; loving husband, Billie Joe Goodson and an infant son, Billie Joe Goodson, Jr. 

Mrs. Goodson retired from Shaw Industries in Andalusia, Alabama and was currently doing volunteer work as a Pink Lady with Dale Medical Center in Ozark, Alabama.
