Joshua James King of Andalusia passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at his residence. He was 38 years of age.
Funeral services are incomplete and will be announced later by Keahey Funeral Home. Left to cherish his memory, the woman he loved, Jen Mason of Andalusia; father, Thomas King and Mother, Laura Cooper, both of the Andalusia (Carolina Community); step son, Tristan Mims of Andalusia; stepdaughters, Vania Sims of Opp and Alexis Price of Andalusia; sister, Brandy Hughes of Florala; nephews, Alex King, Oliver Jackson, Kaden Thompson, nieces Reagan King and Marissa Jackson, Kylie Thompson and Kenzie Thompson; grandchildren, Vera, Noah, Mila and Liam;
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Bridget Michelle King and Olivia Hughes and a brother, Shaun Hughes.
Joshua was a graduate of Pleasant Home High School; his grandchildren affectionately called him “Pops”; spending time with his grandchildren and family was one of his favorite things to do. He loved camping, building bonfires, and fishing. He was greatly loved and will be missed.
