JoAnne (Peavy) Walker

JoAnne Walker, age 76 of Andalusia (Heath community) passed away June 24, 2025 at her residence.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, June 27, 2025 at Stone Lake Gardens. The family will receive from 9 a.m, Friday at Keahey Funeral Home until time to depart for the cemetery. Rev. Ed Ganus will officiate at the graveside.
Left to cherish her loving memory, one son, Wade Walker of the Health community; grandsons, Caleb Walker of Andalusia and Zachary Walker of Opp; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
JoAnne was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward Walker and 20 years ago, a son, Timothy Walker; grandsons, Hunter Walker, Dakota Walker and Noah Walker; a sister, Judy R. Baker and her parents, Julius and Cleo Peavy.
She was a 1967 graduate of Andalusia High School. During her working years, she worked at various grocery stores and sewing factories through the years, after retirement she loved being a homemaker and fishing, doing crossword puzzles and was a huge Alabama and Dallas cowboys football fan.
