Mr. Jimmy Yard passed away on August 12, 2020, after a lengthy illness, at his residence. He was 61. A Memorial Service will be held at First Freewill Baptist Church in Dozier, AL, Sunday, August 16, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. Out of an abundance of caution, the family has decided to cancel the visitation time until a later date as can be deemed safe to do so.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Yard of Andalusia; son, William Ryan Yard of Alpharetta, Ga, and, Chad Howell of Andalusia; daughters, Jenny (Waylon) Bush of Andalusia, and Mindy Yard (Maddox) of Panama City, FL; grandchildren, Hayden Yard, Brody Yard, Izzy Howell, Conlan Howell, Kipton Bush, and Kanon Bush; sister, Rena Tisdale Curry of Dalton, GA., and father-in-law, Grover Williamson. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Ray Tisdale and Mary Lois Stewart; brother, David Wayne Yard; and mother-in-law, Cora Sue Williamson. Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
