Jimmy Shelton Obituary

Mr. Jimmy Shelton passed away Sunday, June 28, 2020 at his residence. He was 58. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday July 1, 2020 at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Brother Benji Jordan will officiate and the eulogy will be given by Dr. Kevin Wilburn. Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery in Glenwood, AL.

Born February 13, 1962, in Decatur, Al, he was the son of Rosevelt Vettie Shelton and Estelle Marie Williams.

He is survived by wife Nancy Shelton, sons Mickey Shelton(Tori Morgan), and Austin McDonald; daughter Cindy (Gary) Meadows; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Thomas, Kiara Thomas, Jamey Meadows, Samuel Meadows; brothers, Howard (Kathy) Shelton, Bill (Angie)Shelton, Grady (Annette) Williams, sisters, Martha Thornton, Ruby Wilkerson, and Stella Long.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Valerie Thomas, and sister Ella (Betty) Bennifield.

Jimmy loved the outdoors, especially woodworking, fishing, hunting, and gardening; he loved sharing with others all the things he created from his outdoor passions.
