Jerry Robert Creel

Jerry Robert Creel, of Louisville, Alabama passed away November 12, 2024, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, November 15, 2024, at Pine Level Baptist Church (1110 County Road 33, Louisville, Al 36048). Rev. Russell Hagler will officiate. 

Jerry served in the Navy, Air National Guard and National Guard, and served time in Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War. Jerry was a long-time helicopter mechanic at Fort Rucker, Alabama. He was a dedicated deacon at Pine Level Baptist Church since 1999, and long time Sunday School teacher.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Willis Creel, a sister, Joyce Creel Espinoza, parents, James Shelton and Mary Ellenor Creel, and a daughter, Betty Jo Creel Danner.

He was a dedicated son, husband, father, grand and great grandfather and a friend to many.

Left to cherish his memory, loving wife, Patricia Dunaway Creel; daughters, Sarah (Allan) Peterson of Abbeville, Alabama, and their daughters, Patricia and Lauren Peterson and Elleanor Creel Green of Troy, Alabama; daughter, Jericho Green of Louisville, Alabama; daughter, Leigh Creel (Lamar) Lee of Ozark, Alabama; grandson Carlos (Heather) Danner of Linden, Alabama and their sons, Brody and Bryce Danner.

Psalms 73:26 “My flesh and heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”

John 16:22 “So with you, now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.”
