Jep Douglas Sasser

Jep Douglas Sasser, age 92 of Andalusia passed away peacefully on August 14, 2025 at Andalusia Manor.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Stone Lake Gardens. Rev. Greg Smith will officiate. Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

Left to cherish his memory, sons, Jep Douglas Sasser, Jr., (Lisa) of Andalusia; Kenneth (Deborah) Lasseign of Brantley; sister, Magdeline Petrey of California; 

6 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Virginia in 2018; and a brother, Don Herbert Sasser, and two infant daughters, Mary Hope Sasser and Tammy Lynn Sasser.

Jep was a lifelong resident of Covington County, he served in the U.S. Marines and the U.S. Air Force and retired from Shaw Industries.
