Jean (Whittle) Scott

Mrs. Jean Scott of Andalusia passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020, at her residence. She was 90.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. President Frank White will officiate. Interment will follow in the Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.
Born in Gantt, Alabama, with her family she moved to New York and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She worked with K-Mart in New York and Walmart in Andalusia. She loved going to the beach, crocheting, sewing, and was a great cook.
Left to cherish her memory, daughters, Cheryl Scott of Niagara Falls, New York; Deborah Scott of Andalusia and Patricia Merrill of Enterprise, AL; Susan McDaniel (Robert) of Andalusia; brother, Robert Whittle (Sandy) of Niagara Falls, New York; sisters, Barbara Black of Andalusia and Paulette Wright (Robert) of Youngstown, New York; grandchildren, Joshua Scott (Angie), Aaron Barry, Jesse Galinski, Leslie Griggs (Colby), Dale Galinski (Kimberly), Lacey Merrill, Cody McDaniel (Raven), Christopher Merrill, Rachel McDaniel, and Rebecca Galinski; great-grandchildren, Anna Grace Scott, Livie Griggs, Alistair Griggs, Sam Galinski, Cheyenne McDaniel, Cooper McDaniel, Mia Person, and Christian Porter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie C. Scott in 1991, her parents, Cecil Whittle and Estie Lee Whittle; her sister, Gloria Joyce Fogle, and brother, Barry Whittle. Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
