James "Bill" Ernest Gomillion

James Ernest “Bill” Gomillion, age 81 of McKenzie passed away January 19, 2026.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, January 23, 2026, at Brooks Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Dwayne Gomillion will officiate. Special music will be provided by Terry Faust. Serving as pallbearers will be Caleb Gomillion, Cameron Gomillion, Austin Huckaba, Micheal McNeil, Brayden Huckaba, Zane Hall. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Huckaba, Dale Faust, Rev. Tyree Bowen, David Campbell, Mike Burkett, Don Lee, Everett Gomillion, Douglas Gomillion, David Gomillion.
Left to cherish his memory son, Kevin Gomillion (Annette Gorum) of McKenzie, AL; sisters, Eunice (Gene) Ballard of Georgiana, AL; Jeanette (Winfred) Ballard of Georgiana, AL;  grandchildren, Caleb (Emily) Gomillion, Cameron (Tabitha) Gomillion, Austin (Jenny) Huckaba, Kinsey (Zane Hall) Gomillion, Aly (Micheal) McNeil,  numerous great grandchildren, sisters-in-law, Betty (Everett) Gomillion, Linda (Don) Lee, Kathy Gomillion; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by Christine Gomillion and Barbara Merritt, brother, Aaron Gomillion and sister, Myrtle (Sam) Baker.
He owned his own logging company until he retired and enjoyed anything that put him outdoors, especially fishing and hunting.
