Iva Henderson Obituary

Mrs. Iva Lee Henderson of Andalusia passed away Sunday, May 31, 2020, at her residence. She was 84.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at Keahey Funeral Home. Rev. Waylon Bush will officiate and a eulogy will be given by a grandson, Richard Parrish. Interment will follow in Antioch Congregational Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, (June 2, 2020) at Keahey Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers will be Keith O’Neill, Joshua Kidd, Bobbie Watson, Lance Holloway, Rocky Smithart, and Trenton Watson.

Left to cherish her memory, son, W.D. (Debi) Henderson of Andalusia; daughters, Geneise (Robert) Neeley, Elaine Killingsworth, Maxine Henderson, and Karen (Johnnie) Raley, all of Andalusia; a twin sister, Ruthie Lee Raybon of Dozier; 14 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Henderson, and 9 brothers and 2 sisters.

Iva Lee loved being outdoors and greatly admired the beautiful palette of God’s creations with all its beautiful bright colors! She loved cats, fishing, and butterflies. She loved everybody and would do anything for anybody. She was greatly loved and will be missed greatly.
