Hubert Earl Aughtmon

Hubert Earl Aughtmon, 79, of Dozier, Alabama, passed away on November 4, 2025.
Funeral services, officiated by Rev. Stacey Gaston and Rev. Keith Morgan, will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, November 7, 2025, at West Highland Assembly of God Church in Andalusia, with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Kimbro Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Kimbro Cemetery at First National Bank of Dozier. P.O. Box 68, Dozier, AL. 
He is survived by his loving wife, Glenda Kaye Aughtmon of Dozier; his son, Rockie Earl Aughtmon of Andalusia; and his daughter, Taffany Whitfield of Andalusia. He also leaves behind a brother, Wayne (Carrie) Aughtmon of Dozier, and two sisters, Maxine Watson of Andalusia and Lynitta (Wayne) Blackmon of Newnan, GA.
Hubert was a devoted grandfather to Garrett Whitfield, Drake Whitfield, Olivia Whitfield, Savannah Whitfield, Sawyer Whitfield,Chandler Aughtmon, Cody (Charlene) Aughtmon, and Hunter Aughtmon, and a cherished great-grandfather to Weston Aughtmon, Danyelle Aughtmon, Kyro Sheridan, and Kyler Sheridan. He loved gardening, spending time with his grandchildren, and hunting, and he will be remembered for his warmth, and love of family.
